Come and experience Champery and the surrounding area on foot. Hire a guide to make the most of your time here, and to discover some of the most interesting and beautiful walks in the region!

One of our favourite family-friendly walks is the ‘Galerie Défago.’ This exciting 600-metre path runs along a natural ledge carved into the rock, offering scenic views of Champéry village. The trail concludes at Cantine des Rives, where you can enjoy a refreshing drink while soaking up the sun.

This walk is especially great for families with young children. At the end of the trail, you can hop on the free tourist shuttle train back to the village, saving little legs from the return journey.

For those who prefer a gentler route, chairlifts are available to bypass steeper paths.

This was our first family outdoor climbing lesson and it exceeded our expectations. From the initial email Lloyd wanted to know what we wanted to achieve as a family and this was picked up seamlessly by our Instructor Tom B. He was super knowledgeable, patient and kind and the 3hrs flew past. By the end of our first session we had surpassed what we thought we would achieve regardless of our starting point and we can’t wait for our next session 😀

Je voulais remercier Gabriel Farmer, mon moniteur d’escalade durant ma semaine de vacances à Champéry cet été 2024. J’ai passé des heures incroyables avec lui. On riait, on souffrait et surtout on progressait (j’ai réussi la 5b de la voie 10 !!!) Encore merci Gabriel et j’espère pouvoir te dire à l’année prochaine sur les roches de montagnes cette fois !!

Durant notre séjour à Champéry, nous avons eu la chance de rencontrer Gabriel Farmer, un moniteur d’escalade exceptionnel. Il nous a poussé à nous dépasser avec énormément de bienveillance et de patience. On a beaucoup ri tout en progressant très efficacement !!! Un prof au top !! A l’année prochaine Gabriel !!! We booked three days of private lessons with Experience Champery (Red Carpet). My wife and I had Tom as our instructor and our three boys had Paul.
Tom was an excellent instructor who was able to teach us new techniques and grow our confidence.
Our three boys loved their time with Paul and he helped them improve whilst having a lot of fun.
We thoroughly recommend them.

The Experience Champéry team went out of their way to make sure our 30+ people family group had the best time. Friendly, creative and super proffesional, they did everything from taking our 4 year olds on their first ski lessons to exploring the region with more expeienced skiers and snowboarders.
